US BLOG BREAKS

The US Report extends condolences to the families of those injured or killed at Ft. Hood. We are saddened by the senseless loss of life as dedicated members of our military served our country with honor.

~Flu vaccines are touted as safe, but mishaps do occur.

~For a break from the country's troubles, try some reggae and Rugby League
Jacksonville has a treat for you--reggae by King Eddie and the Pili Pili and Rugby League match between the U.S. and Jamaica. Prices are fam friendly. What more could you want?

~Editor's poem featured at Daily Poem
Jayne Jaudon Ferrer features a poem each day at the website Your Daily Poem. TUSR editor Kay Day was honored to have her poem, 'Every Good Bird Does Fly,' featured on Sunday. Piano students will recognize the meaning in the title; Day studied piano for years until she began college.

~"Get the hell out of my way!"
Dallas Libertarian examiner Garry Reed recounts a pivotal passage in Ayn Rand's 'Atlas Shrugged,'  drawing comparisons to today's imprisoned marketplace. An excellent essay.

~Gore gets in on car deal; $529 MILLION fed loan
We hate to keep reminding readers we're right about things. Remember how we've always said Cap and Trade is all about the money? At least now the worms are crawling out of the wood. Chances are you won't buy one of the Gore-backed cars. The Wall Street Journal says they'll sell for "about $89,000." And guess where your taxpayer bucks are going to be located? Finland.
