Update on The US Report move

We are still working on transferring The US Report to another host.

Because time is limited, I've had to put this off until I finish some other projects. We're paid up with this host for several more months, so there's not really a rush.

The move is proving more complicated than I anticipated.

Meanwhile, please keep up with our columns at DAY ON THE DAY. You'll find news and commentary about what's going on in the U.S. at that site, posted on a daily basis.

We'll let you know when our move is complete. Thanks for sticking with us through what has been a nightmare and a definite challenge to our time. Best, Kay B. Day/editor

Christmas greetings from The US Report

All of us at The US Report wish you and yours a merry Christmas and happy holidays. Regular postings will resume December 26, 2011.

Merry Christmas from The US Report

The US Report sends Christmas greetings and best wishes to you and your family. Christmas is a very important celebration in my Christian faith, and I'll be taking a few days of vacation to be with friends and family. Regular columns will resume Monday, Dec. 27. A safe and joyous holiday to all of you who make our work worthwhile.

Merry Christmas from The US Report

Merry Christmas to you and yours from the editors and contributors at The US Report!

This week we're celebrating with friends and family, but when Monday, Dec. 28 arrives, we'll resume covering the Navy SEALs' case, Capt. Bjork's case and insane spending by Democrats. We'll have some fun with the healthcare legislation and we'll look ahead to what's new in taxes (Democrats love taxes.)

Meanwhile, we don't want to even have to think about politics for a few days. Happy holidays, whatever you're celebrating.
